The Ingredients
1 shallot, roughly chopped
2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves stems removed (about 4 ounces)
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp dijon mustard
The Instructions
Roughly chop the shallot and remove the basil stems. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until the basil is chopped into fine pieces and the shallot is minced. Pour over salad & enjoy!
